Microsoft Users Toolkit
The Microsoft Users toolkit connects Arcade to the Microsoft Graph API, enabling LLMs to read user profiles and navigate organizational hierarchies within a Microsoft 365 tenant.
Capabilities
- Profile lookup: Retrieve one or more user profiles by email address, UPN, or user ID — supports both single and batch Graph API calls to return job title, department, office location, and tenant domain.
- Current user identity: Fetch the authenticated user's own profile, including name, email, job title, department, and office location.
- Org hierarchy traversal: Look up a user's direct manager or retrieve their full list of direct reports, returning paginated results for large teams.
- Tenant-scoped: All tools require a Microsoft 365 work or school account; personal Microsoft accounts (outlook.com, hotmail.com, live.com) are not supported.
OAuth
This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 using Microsoft as the provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for configuration details.
