Resend is a transactional email API; this toolkit lets agents send, schedule, retrieve, and manage emails through Resend via Arcade.
Capabilities
- Send & schedule email: Send transactional email immediately or queue it for future delivery using a
scheduled_attimestamp; returns a Resend-assignedemail_id. - Inspect delivery status: Retrieve a single email record by its Resend ID, including current delivery state.
- Manage scheduled email: Cancel or reschedule not-yet-sent emails by ID.
Secrets
RESEND_API_KEY — A Resend API key used to authenticate all requests. Obtain it from the Resend API Keys dashboard: log in, navigate to API Keys, click Create API Key, choose a name and the appropriate sending permission ("Full Access" or "Sending Access"), and copy the key immediately — it is not shown again. A verified sending domain is required before emails can be delivered.
