Reddit Toolkit
The Reddit toolkit connects Arcade to the Reddit API via OAuth2, enabling LLMs to read, post, and interact with Reddit content on behalf of authenticated users.
Capabilities
- Identity & account: Retrieve the authenticated user's username and their own post history.
- Subreddit discovery: Check subreddit existence and accessibility (public, private, or restricted); fetch subreddit rules and post listings (hot, new, top, controversial) with filtering by time range.
- Post reading: Retrieve full content of one or multiple posts by identifier in a single or batched request.
- Commenting & replying: Fetch top-level comments on a post, post new comments, and reply to existing comments.
- Content submission: Submit text-based posts to a subreddit.
OAuth
This toolkit uses OAuth2 with Reddit as the identity provider. Arcade manages the OAuth flow automatically.
See the Reddit auth provider docs for configuration details.
